Excellent location and friendly staff. Very affordable price for the room too. My only complaint is that they don't seem to care that the sidewalk is blocked. Motorists in this city do not seem to care in the least about hitting pedestrians, so it was a struggle to safely exit the hotel every time.
The room is with out any paintings ore photos one the wall feels like a institutt.. Room is very simple. Nothing speical and I got 50% ho waas 1998,-NOK so to pay 4000 for this business room is not Worth it at all. I dont find even paying my price was Worth it. The best part with the hotel was the breakfeast and locasion. But yeah a very boring room and a crazy price. I was the highest member before of there privileged program. Still member but there hotel is is no longer in Gha discovery and for me know point. But it is okay and clean..i know prices in Kristiansand is high in the summer but yeah...
I have used this hotel a few times, but was extremely disappointed I wasn't warned about a club playing until 1.30am one night during the stay when I booked.
The night club is directly opposite the hotel and the music is crazy loud, not to mention the street full of noisy drunk people (and on a work night Thursday)
If you want to sleep on a club night DO NOT stay at this hotel.
This hotel is amazing, great mattresses, big television screen, two curtains, big table, smaller table, comfortable chairs, hair dryer, soap, nice view... the room has everything, what a good hotel room should have. I have probably never experienced such helpful and friendly staff at the hotel. The hotel is near the station and it is calm. The hotel does not waste food and will gladly pack your breakfast, or will make you free coffee or tea at any time. There is no fridge in the room, but the staff will be happy to put your food or pills to the fridge in the kitchen or lend you iron. In the hallway the vending machine works as a minibar. There are elegant conference rooms in the basement. For me the hotel should have five stars.
Went there for a business meeting, the lady at the reception was polite and helpful. The lobby was quiet at that time, the big glass windows bring in plenty of light & give you a feeling of coziness while sitting there quietly & looking towards the street. First view looks like a good hotel for business meeting, but not for vaccation. Parking experience can be quite stressful. Might come back again.

Its a newly renovated hotel and I have to say it does look quite nice. The staff were very kind and easy to converse with. The rooms were spacious and clean. Overall nice in that regard. Lobby was nice and the area the hotel was located in had lots of food and such close by. The hotel restaurant was decently good but far from perfect. The waiter was not too happy with my criticism of the food. Check out went easy as well..
